Matthew 24 revealed that Jesus' prophecy about great tribulation  was given when He foretold the destruction of the amazing  Jerusalem temple. He said that the days would come when not one stone would be left standing - they would be thrown down.

In the prophecy, Jesus gave many signs about the Jewish revolt against the Roman Empire. However, He warned that the destruction of the temple would be near when armies surrounded the city (Luk 21:20).

📕Two Events Took Place in The Heavens During the Revolt

 Josephus records that in 66AD, a star, which resembled a sword, stood over the city and hung over it for a whole year:

📕Time of the appearance of Halley's Comet on the calendar 

Halley's Comet appeared in early January 66 CE, coinciding with the outbreak of the First Jewish-Roman War.  Early January 66CE/AD would map month 10 on the Jewish Calendar.
